Our Programmes
Ukrainian Archive
An independent digital archive preserving evidence of violations connected to the war in Ukraine
Ukrainian Archive was established by Mnemonic in response to Russiaʼs full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. It is a Ukrainian-led initiative playing a central role in using open source information for justice and accountability. It employs a robust methodological framework aligned with international standards for data collection, preservation and verification. In close collaboration with Ukrainian civil society organizations, the archive has amassed over 8.9 million digital records. Today, it stands as a vital, leading repository for documenting human rights violations and war crimes.
This archive is hosted by Mnemonic, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving digital evidence of human rights violations for use in justice, accountability and advocacy efforts.
