Our Programmes
Syrian Archive
An independent digital archive preserving evidence of human rights violations for accountability and justice
Syrian Archive, the founding programme of Mnemonic, has pioneered monitoring, archiving, preserving, analysing, verifying, and investigating open source documentation of human rights violations and international crimes related to the Syrian conflict since 2014. In its decade of existence, the Syrian-led programme has been an essential actor, working in close collaboration with partners from both Syrian and international civil society to build the largest civil society-led repository of open source materials, with more than seven million records to date.
This archive is hosted by Mnemonic, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving digital evidence of human rights violations for use in justice, accountability and advocacy efforts.
